Lyoto Machida will win, he’s just a complete package.
Liddell will win. Shogun Rua was very bad in his fight against Coleman. Not impressive at all.
Forrest Griffin vs Thiago Silva will be good, but I think Silva will win.
Do not cross Thales Leites out yet, Leites is an excellent BJJ fighter, better than Anderson Silva.
Silva is much more technical on the ground, and while Leites has KO power, it will be stupid if he try to hang with the like of Silva standing up. But on the ground, Leites is I think is one level above Silva still.

Rashad, his counter striking and wrestling will finally get Lyoto from doing his Fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee routine
Lidell, his striking, and great take down defense will out match shoguns pound for pound
Forrest, He just has a lot of heart…..sometimes that’s enough for anything.

All will be boring, UFC was cool but the matchmaking is getting pathetic. And having Lesnar as the HW champ is making MMA look real bad.

Liddel vs Shogun… I have no clue because of the way Shogun has looked lately. I will bet that he will be in shape. Shogun by k.o. 1st round.
Evans vs Machida…. Machida should become the next champ. Forrest was giving Rashad all he could handle till the very end when Forrest had his hand hurt. Machida is all around better than forrest and he can actually punch too. Right now I don’t see how Rashad can beat him. You never know in an MMA fight though. Rashad has pulled out miracle wins in the past. Lyoto by K.O. 3rd round.
Forrest vs Silva… I like Forrest by decision too.

machida is going to beat evans, kinda has the same fighting style as tito being a wrestler, with some striking- machida preys on people charging in at him, because he’s a very elusive striker, and has amazing counter strikes, he’s also a very good bjj guy he trains with nogueira, and anderson silva.
i think liddell should win this fight but i’ve been wrong on my past few liddell fights, that he should have won. i heard liddell was training with a separate camp for this fight as well as with the pit. hopefully he wins this fight because i heard rumor that if he doesn’t he’s done with the UFC.
i think thiago silva is going to knock forrest out. thiago was undefeated until his last fight in which he lost by ko to machida. thiago is a very great muay thai guy, and he’s even better on the ground, so i’m gonna go with thiago plus he’s good friends with my instructor, so gonna root for the home team.

A lot of people are saying Machida will win, but I think Rashad can do it. The Jackson camp has some really good game plans and Rashad has the skills to pull it off in my opinion. Probably by TKO.
Liddell will likely win. They both haven’t been looking too great but Shogun’s victory against Coleman ironically put him lower on many top 10 LHW rankings as well as people’s minds. Chuck by UD or late TKO.
Forrest should take this one by UD and easily outscore Silva.
Silva will probably rock Leites. If Silva was smart he’d work his takedown defense. But I’m about 95% certain he will win that one.

Rashad Evans Vs Lyoto Machida
Cant pick this one, it will deffo be much closer than people think! Everyone seems to count Rashad out but if there is anyone in the entire light heavy weight division who has a chance of beating Lyoto its Rashad!
Liddell Vs Shogun
Shogun knows his cardio has been rubbish lately and I can guarantee he wont make the same mistake again. He will be well rested and well trained for this fight. I can see him ending Chucks career!

I think Forrest has the better stand up, he is bigger and has the reach advantage and I think that is what will win him this fight.

That’s why I believe the Evans/Machida fight will be even more intriguing that the original Evans/Jackson fight. It’s a match-up of two different fighters with very different backgrounds. I think Evans’ hands will plow through Machida’s take down attempts though we saw Machida’s stand-up skills in his last fight against thiago silva. If Evans plays it smart, he’ll keep a good distance from machida’s take downs and will avoid being taken down at all costs keeping the fight on their feet.
I’ve never really been an avid Shogun fan so I’m looking for Liddell to be aggressive and for him to knock Shogun out early in the fight.
I believe Forrest will come back stronger than ever and his first match on his way up on being a contender for the light-heavyweight championship is against an always dangerous Thiago Silva. I’m taking Forrest by submission.
